Darling's annual Wild Flower Show showcases a selection of the 1000 species of flowering plants to be found in the region, many of them endangered as a result of losing habitat to either farmland or invading aliens.
Cloof is Darling's only Champion of Biodiversity (www.bwi.co.za), protecting hundreds of hectares of endangered Fynbos. We manage our farms in accordance with the environmentally sensitive BWI guidelines. Our ongoing alien eradication programme is funded from the proceeds of our wine sales.
