The Winnipeg Free Press printed a complimentary review of Daisy Darling 2008 (written by Ben MacPhee-Sigurdson) in its 11 July 2009 edition:
"While this South African winery is known more for its reds, this is a sparkplug of a white that deserves attention. Two of the country's best white wine grapes are blended here, with beautiful honey, floral, lemon candy and mineral notes on the nose. It's a crisp, light wine with medium acidity, enhancing the lime and tart apple flavours before the more mellow floral and honey notes kick in. Very nice."
